Most Prominent Co., most commonly known as MPCo., is a fashion brand from Northridge, California that creates garments as platforms to serve others.
Their process of campaign development and the creation of the clothes itself helps relay the everlasting message of advocacy for fair labor practices and sustainability of fashion through meaningful stories that are incorporated into collections and explored through community projects.
Being their head graphic designer and part-time social media manager, I got to work closely with both owners of the company, Avery Antonio and Mayra Moran, and help expand it from the ground up. I designed certain garments in collections, advertisements in print and web, themes for their website, podcast cover, video editing and sometimes even a model.
SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISEMENTS
Here are two examples of my work at MPCo. These were a part of the "Make it Last Campaign", that focuses on sustainability of clothing and what we, the public, can do to help remedy the situation.
MPCo. x CMOTA COLLABORATION
In early 2019 MPCo. collaborated with a fellow fashion brand, CMOTA, to create a collection of pieces made to endure with quality that lasts, inspired by and aptly named, the FIRST RESPONDER SERIES.
I designed the typography featured on the various shirts and pants.
MAKE IT LAST VIDEOS + MODELING
The MAKE IT LAST program was about repurposing that promotes a circle economy approach where you can give your unwanted garments a second life and gain control over your impact. Aside from creating company products, they also accept items of clothing the repurpose for customers.
Here, I created to video advertisements for their website and social media, as well as being a featured model in the ad campaign (the one with the striped socks!).
